Top Up Pharmacy has once again reinforced its commitment to community health and access to care by proudly supporting Graphic’s annual free healthcare screening with medications worth GH₵30,000.
Our mission and vision are embedded in the fact that we seek to help alleviate the suffering of all the communities we operate in, which makes this community outreach paramount to us; hence, the initiative to partner with GCGL for the yearly screening program.
Why We Support Free Health Screening
- Access to Preventive Care
Many people delay or skip routine checkups due to cost. Free screenings help catch silent conditions early, like hypertension, diabetes, or other non-communicable diseases, so that appropriate intervention can begin promptly.
- Community Trust & Goodwill
By putting health first and partnering in visible community efforts, we strengthen our relationship with patrons, local groups, and stakeholders who see us not just as a business but as a health partner.
- Health Awareness & Education
During the screening event, educational materials and guidance are provided on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and when to seek professional care.
- Referral & Continuity of Care
Cases that require further evaluation are referred to credible health facilities. Top Up Pharmacy continues to be available as a point of counsel, follow-up, and medication support for those whose screenings reveal health concerns.
Looking Forward
We see this collaboration with Graphic as the beginning of a sustainable model of community engagement. Top Up Pharmacy plans to:
- Expand future free screening events across more locations.
- Offer follow-up support and discounts for participants who need medication or further diagnostics.
- Partner with local schools, NGOs, and health institutions to reach underserved areas.
Our participation in Graphic’s free health screening is more than an act of giving; it is a reaffirmation of our vision. At Top Up Pharmacy, we believe that health is not just a service, but a right. We remain committed to using every opportunity to bridge the gap between communities and accessible, quality care.
