Description

Neo-Hycolex drops is a combination of neomycin sulphate and hydrocortisone used in the treatment of infections of the eye, ear and nose providing relief from irritation and redness.

Composition

Sterile Eye, Nose & Ear Drops
Hydrocortisone Acetate BP 1.5% w/v, Neomycin Sulphate B.P 0.5% w/v Benzalkonium Chloride solution (as preservative) USP 0.02% v/v Sterile aqueous vehicle.

Usage

  1. In the eye: NEO-HYCOLEX: To treat short term inflammatory and allergic conditions.
  2. In the nose: NEO-HYCOLEX: To treat allergic rhinitis and sinus infections.
  3. In the ear: NEO-HYCOLEX: To treat (otitis externa, seborrheic dermatitis & infected eczematoid dermatitis.

Dosage

2-3 drops to be instilled into the affected eye, nostril or ear every one to four hours, according to severity of infection. After the initial inflammation has subsided, the dosage may be reduced to 1-2 drops, three to four times a day.
