Description

Itraconazole Bar Soap contains the active ingredient itraconazole 1% which is an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal infections. Itraconazole Bar Soap is recommended for the treatment of fungal infections including athlete’s foot, ringworm, tinea corporis and fungal infections of the toenails and fingernails.

Use the Itraconazole Soap as prescribed by the doctor or dermatologist. Clean and dry the affected area before the application of the soap. Apply a sufficient amount of the soap on the affected area as well as 1 inch of the surrounding skin. Gently wash your hands before and after the usage of this medicated soap in order to prevent the infection from spreading to other parts of the body.

Skin infections will usually get better after 2 to 4 weeks if it is used as per the scheduled dose and duration.

Keep using the soap until finishing the dose even if the symptoms start getting better. It will prevent the infection from reappearing. Do not stop the usage of the medicated soap in the middle until it is advised by the doctor. Consult the doctor if the infection doesn’t go away after four weeks of  treatment. Seek immediate medical attention if sudden accidental exposure of the itraconazole soap occurs in the eyes, mouth, or nose and splash plenty of water.
