Description
Gynomycolex Pessaries is an antifungal medicine used to treat vaginal yeast infections such as vulvovaginal candidiasis. It contains the active ingredient miconazole which reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge that may occur with this condition.
This medication is an azole antifungal. It works by stopping the growth of yeast (fungus) that causes the infection.
Usage
For the local treatment of vulva-vaginal candidiasis and super-infections due to gram-positive bacteria.
Dosage
Gynomycolex pessaries are intended for vaginal administration. One pessary to be inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina at night for 3 consecutive nights. This is best done in the reclining position.
