Description
Cetirizine 10mg tablets is a non-drowsy antihistamine used to treat symptoms of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis and urticaria in adults and children over 2 years of age. These symptoms include sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy throat, itchy, red or watery eyes, hives and itching. Cetirizine does not prevent hives or prevent/treat a serious allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis.
Cetrizine 10mg tablets (cetirizine dihydrochloride) may, however, make some people drowsy. Other side effects include fatigue, dry mouth and stomach pain especially in children. Avoid alcohol when taking cetirizine as alcohol can worsen the side effects. If any of these side effects last or get worse, inform your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
